What to know about your RESERVA.
Does the kit include a Ledger?
No. RESERVA includes the backup and guidance materials described here. It is an independent product, with no affiliation with or endorsement by Ledger.
Do the two plates form one seed?
They are not two halves. Each plate holds a complete copy of the same 24 words. Store the copies separately, protected against unauthorised access.
How are the cards different from the guide?
The guide covers networks, wallets, security, backups and your family plan. The five cards are a quick guide for family members: what to preserve, avoid and check, and how to seek help.
Do I need to fill in the cards?
No. They come with ready-to-read instructions for any family member who finds the materials. Personal contacts and instructions belong in the guide's worksheets, separate from the plates and without your seed, PIN or passphrase.
Do I need to send you my recovery words?
Never. Plates arrive blank, and you fill them in privately. Do not send photos, a PIN, passphrase or any part of your seed to support.
What if I use an additional passphrase?
A passphrase needs its own backup and complementary plan. The 24 words alone cannot recover accounts protected by it. Do not disable your passphrase to use this kit. Multisignature wallets also need a specific plan.
Can the kit recover words I have lost?
No. It helps you record and organise a phrase you already have. It is not a lost-seed recovery service and does not guarantee asset recovery.
Which language will my kit use?
Product images show the English edition. You will be able to choose your kit language when ordering becomes available.
